Compost your phone case!

What happens to your phone case after you're done using it? Have you ever wondered?

Sadly, it ends up where all plastic does: rivers, oceans, beaches, the bellies of precious ocean creatures, and ultimately even in your own stomach.

How can you personally be a part of the solution though?

Last month we had the opportunity to make custom Ungalli tees for a really cool company called Pela Case. They make phone cases from 100% plant based materials which makes them plastic free and compostable! How amazing is that!?

Some other cool features of the case:

- Amazing protection from drops and scratches.

100% compostable case & plastic free packaging.

BPA-free, eco-friendly and child-safe.

- Donations made to environmental initiatives from each sale.

Pela Case is also a Canadian company! They're shipping Canadian products all over the world, making it a better place for everyone. You know our motto: The World Needs More Canada!

Next time you need a new case do the world a solid, and buy a Canadian Pela Case!

For information about custom Ungalli tee's for your business or organization check out our website, or email info@ungalli.com. Minimum custom order starts at just 25 tees.

Enjoy the sunshine!

Facebook Contest! Vote For Your Favourite New Design

First of all, we've got an exciting announcement to make. We're so thrilled to be working with Brandi Fiala, a local artist, on two brand-new Ungalli tee designs.

Brandi says of her connection to Thunder Bay:

"I grew up in the Thunder Bay region where the outdoors was my playground. Inevitably, as it will, a great appreciation for nature and adventure brewed up into who I am and what I try to express in my art.

My art is inspired by the vast intricacy of nature and the intrigue of adventure. As well as, the need for balance of society to individualism and technology to organisms.
In turn, these interests have inspired an elevated sense of responsibility to be thoughtful and respectful to the earth, my playground."

Brandi's philosophy clearly shines through in these two gorgeous graphic looks. We think both designs are equally amazing, but only one will also become a featured Ungalli Lightweight Front Zip. That's why we need your help deciding.

Head over to our Facebook Page and "Like" and "Comment" on the zip-up contest post with your favourite design. (Rules and Regs)

You'll be entered to win a Lightweight Front Zip with the winning design. Contest closes Saturday at 11:59 pm EST so get voting! Good luck.

Help Kickstart Ungalli Joggers!

We've got some news for you!

As you all know, since our launch in 2013, we've been focused on Recycled and Organic Tees, Tanks, Hoodies, Crew Necks, Hats and Accessories. Sustainable style up top? Check.

But on social media, through email, and in person, we kept hearing that you wanted an option for pants, too. You asked, and we listened. And what better way to design great clothing than to ask the stylish people who are going to wear it?

We held a vote, asking you, our Thunder Bay and National fans about style...

and logo placement...

After almost 500 votes, a clear winner emerged. We're so excited to show you the new Ungalli Joggers - but we still need your help.

In order to start production, we need $60,000, so we launched a Kickstarter to help bring you the sustainable style you've been looking for. Our Joggers Campaign launches today - and we've got some awesome rewards, plus great deals on our retail and wholesale packages, available only through our Kickstarter.

They say the early bird catches the worm...but in our case the early bird gets a free hat! Head to our Kickstarter page today to see our Early Bird deal.

Thank you guys so much for all of your support. It means the world to us!

Happy Earth Day! 3 Ways to Celebrate

It’s #EarthDay2017! It’s been a busy Earth Month for Ungalli.

We headed to Experiences Canada 150&Me to talk about sustainability with some inspiring teens, launched our full line of gemstone bracelets that help feed hungry kids, and now we’re expanding our amazing sales team at our Intercity store.

With everything going on, Earth Day is the perfect time to take a pause and remind ourselves why we do what we do every day – and what else we all can all do to help the planet.

We’ve rounded up three fun ways to celebrate Earth Day – today and 365.

Plant Flowers, or Some Food
We love gardening. It’s a great way to get your hands dirty and reconnect to the Earth.

Flowers are fun, but better yet: grow your own vegetables and herbs. It’s a way for you to reduce your ecological footprint by increasing the amount of local produce you eat. Plus, what’s better than eating fresh food right off the vine?

If you don’t have a Green Thumb, here’s a great guide of the easiest veggies to grow.

Go For a Bike Ride
It’s shaping up to be a gorgeous day here in Thunder Bay. Wherever you are, consider ditching the car to head out on a bike ride.

Wind in your face…better for the planet…good exercise for you…win, win, win.

Shop Sustainable
From saving water and energy to helping feed kids and rescuing animals in need, we’ve been advocates of helping in any way we can since the beginning.

This March, we rounded up some amazing sustainable brands (run by strong females, of course) for International Women’s Day. Consider checking them out.

Of course, we’ve still got 25% off everything online until the end of April. Use promo code EARTHMONTH.

How are you guys spending Earth Day? Let us know on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
