After running as an online brand for 5 years, Ungalli wasn't making as big of an impact as we wanted. Our goal has always been to eliminate as many harmful fast fashion t-shirts from the world as we can. We just weren't reaching enough customers to do that through traditional retail and e-commerce sales.
It was then that Ungalli entered the promotional clothing industry - an industry that is well known for it's huge amount of waste and harmful impacts on the environment. We realized quickly by printing sustainable merch for other brands, our impact was going to reach farther and wider much faster! Ungalli Custom Orders was born.
Another 5 years later enter dream client, Ontario Parks! We are from the land of Sleeping Giant Provincial Park (Thunder Bay) so the parks are very close to our hearts.
This fall we had opportunity to help create their limited edition vintage collection. These iconic designs — inspired by vehicle permits from the ’50s and ’60s — capture the timeless beauty of the province’s natural spaces.
All sweaters were manufactured by Ungalli right here in Ontario.
Next up was their starry - eyed holiday line! A full product range including tees, hoodies, and crew neck sweaters for adults and kids.
The holiday collection is filled with beautiful designs inspired by the love and preservation of Ontario’s beautiful starry skies.
Including a super fun glow in the dark kids shirt! A first of its kind for Ungalli.
By working with clients like Ontario Parks, this helps us make a significant impact in multiple ways.
1. To date Ontario Parks has recycled almost 50 000 plastic bottles into clothing by choosing Ungalli as their supplier. Through sustainable manufacturing processes they have also eliminated almost 5000 km worth of driving emissions from being released into the atmosphere! These numbers are huge!
2. Proceeds from all Ontario Parks purchases are reinvested in parks to help protect our treasured natural spaces here in Ontario! The staff who help create these products at Ontario Parks put so much heart into their online store. We are proud and honoured to be a part of it.
3. Lastly, these orders help Ungalli create jobs in Ontario! These orders created work for over 10 cut and sew staff, 4 warehouse staff, and 5 screen printers. This merchandise directly impacts families right here in Ontario.
