Corporate Knights, with sponsorship support from paper-products manufacturer Kruger Products, decided it was time to shine a light on Canadian youth who have already demonstrated themselves as leaders of sustainable development. The result is the Top 30 Under 30 Sustainability Leaders list – an impressive collection of young entrepreneurs, activists, corporate professionals and students eager to make our world a better place.

 

Quest Climate Grant
Shell Canada and Canadian Geographic Magazine, 2015

Canadian Geographic and Shell awarded six groups of 18-35 year old climate change heroes $50,000 each for their innovative work on viable solutions to climate change. Read more about the recipients (including Ungalli) here. 

 

 

Nature Inspiration Award (small and medium sized business)
Canadian Museum of Nature, Ottawa, Ontario, 2017

The Nature Inspiration Awards recognize individuals and organizations that, through their work or specific projects, encourage Canadians to take an interest in natural history, create links with nature and contribute to its preservation. Read more about Ungalli's award here. 

 

Speakers at "Canada's Place in the World" Youth Forum
Montreal, Quebec, 2017

One of Canada 150’s Signature Initiatives, Canada 150&Me was designed to put young Canadians between the ages of 14 and 19 at the forefront of the national celebrations. Regional youth forums were held in four major cities across Canada: Vancouver, Halifax, Montréal and Winnipeg.  Each forum focused on topics relevant to youth today including the environment, immigration and diversity, Canada in the world, and human rights.
