What is Kickstarter?
We were surprised to learn that some our fans hadn’t heard about Kickstarter! Kickstarter is a platform that allows creators like us to fund a project. Backers agree to a certain financial commitment for a specific reward (check out all of our options here!); they’re only charged if the project hits its goal. Why Joggers?
You asked and we listened! We’ve always had organic and recycled options for tops. But we kept getting requests for comfortable, stylish and sustainable pants, which we didn’t have. We decided to develop our joggers with our fans in mind and poll them on colours and style. We got some helpful feedback that gave us fantastic direction- thanks guys!
Why Use Kickstarter?
Adding a whole new product line is a big undertaking in financial and manufacturing terms. It's a very significant move for Ungalli. Taking a Kickstarter approach allows us to expand with the help of our community, friends, customers, and network, while delivering on current offers and products. Plus, it brings you behind-the-scenes of what we do – and we’re all about peeling back the curtain if it helps change the fast fashion industry.
What happens if you don’t reach your target?
Our target is $60,000 to be raised between May 30, 2017 and July 5, 2017. Kickstarter is all or nothing, so it’s super important that we reach our goal! If we don’t make it, our backers won’t be charged.
How will the dollars raised be used?
The dollars we raise will be used to meet minimum orders at the amazing Canadian factory that supports sustainable fabrics and initiatives. The Kickstarter will also help Ungalli bring our message to the national and global stage.
What is Green Story?
Green Story is a fantastic Ungalli partner and sustainable startup out of Toronto. Green Story helps to qualify the positive impact of green products over conventional products. We love working with their team to tell the story around the positive impact that shopping sustainable has on the earth.
Where will these joggers be sold?
At the moment, Ungalli joggers are ONLY sold online through Kickstarter.
How sustainable are the joggers?
Our joggers, like all Ungalli products, are one of the most truly sustainable fashion offers available on the market. They’re made from recycled and organic materials in a local factory where workers are paid fair wages.
I’m looking for branded t-shirts, where can I send questions?

I sell eco-products, do you do wholesale?
Absolutely! We have a number of wholesale packages in our Kickstarter. We would be happy to answer any questions you have about the designs and how we can outfit your team in Ungalli. Please reach out!
What does Ungalli mean?
When we were little, our mom used to read us “The Name of the Tree” almost every night. The story is about all the animals working together for the greater good. To us, this demonstrates that no matter how limited we are in terms of resources, we can accomplish great things when we band together. This is the story of our namesake, and a big part of why we’re hoping to reach our Kickstarter goal!
